摘要: This article examines 3 contexts in which moderate or severe traumatic brain injury can be approached. The epidemiologic background of and is presented, with particular attention paid to new findings from the study a national hospital inpatient database. We review aspects neuroimaging how imaging modalities reveal fine detail about injury. Finally we examine current state neuropathologic evaluation of, recent developments in, understanding neural disruptions that occur following injury, together cellular reactions these disruptions.
