摘要: Abstract Sheet specimens of Zircaloy-2 have been oxidised in steam for times between 10 and 370 minutes at the temperatures 1073, 1173 1383 K. The thicknesses oxide alpha-stabilised layers formed during oxidation measured growth rates expressed terms parabolic kinetics. Steam produces tensile extension specimens; a given temperature strain increases parabolically with time. strain-time rate constant temperature, whereas exposure time observed as initial material thickness decreases. data used to compute corresponding stresses alpha transformed beta core material. stress is calculated decrease increasing temperature.
