摘要: microRNA abundance has been shown to depend on the amount of microprocessor components or, in some cases, specific auxiliary co-factors. In this paper, we show that FUS/TLS (fused sarcoma/translocated liposarcoma) protein, associated with familial forms Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), contributes biogenesis a subset microRNAs. Among them, species roles neuronal function, differentiation and synaptogenesis were identified. We also is recruited chromatin at sites their transcription binds corresponding pri-microRNAs. Moreover, depletion leads decreased Drosha level same loci. Limited reduced suggest possible link between FUS mutations affecting nuclear/cytoplasmic partitioning protein altered ALS pathogenesis.
