摘要: Scientists can use a number of strategies to inform policymakers. They be “honest brokers” by communicating variety management options and opening up discussion about range uncertainties, or they “issue advocates” arguing for specific options. This article looks at forestry debate between two groups scientists in northern Finland maps their argumentative strategies.
