摘要: As a result of chronologic aging, both oocyte quantity and quality, therefore reproductive potential, are known to decline in women. Studies involving historical populations have shown clear drop fecundity after the age 30 years, leading fertility loss at mean 41 with wide range between 23 51 years. Increasing female educational levels participation workforce resulted rise which women deliver their first child USA. Between 1990 2002, birth rate for 35–45 increased 53 %. In other words, more than ever before 30s early 40s attempting pregnancy time. This general tendency postpone childbearing also creates growing number infertile who depend upon assisted techniques (ART) achieve pregnancy, solely on basis ovarian aging decreased reserve. However, ART is able compensate natural only limited extent, leaving many couples childless prolonged demanding infertility therapies. For these couples, egg donation often represents an excellent alternative treatment plan and, cases, hope having biologic child.
