摘要: The fact that the cell surface and extracellular matrix (ECM) component heparin sulfate proteoglycans (HSPGs) bind to various growth factor molecules distribute them targeted locations is known for many years (Spring et al., 1994; Nakato 1995; Baeg 2001; Nybakken Perrimon, 2002; Voigt Fujise 2003; Johnson 2004; Steigemann 2004). However only during last few significance of producing functional regulate signaling activities are gaining importance (Sarrazin 2011). Proteoglycans widespread from bacteria humans with diverse expression patterns. Structural features possess immense ability either promote or inhibit tumorigenesis. Members HSPG family (glypicans, syndecans, perlecans) function as co-receptors several growth-related pathways such Wg, Hh, Dpp mediate processes like proliferation, differentiation, morphogenesis, cell-adhesion, migration (Reviewed in Lin, Yan 2009). Studies Drosophila have shown glypicans Dally (Belenkaya Han Vuilleumier 2010; Ferreira Milan, 2015) Dally-like (Dlp) (Gallet 2008; Szuperak 2011) facilitate movement tissue growth. Recent research updates demonstrate novel role HSPGs regulating additional JAK/STAT (Zhang 2013); PI3K TOR (Ferreira also cross-talk between (Wg Dpp) tumorigenesis metastasis (Freire-de-Lima, 2014; Herranz Hauselmann Borsig, 2014). These reports underscore studying proteoglycans.
