摘要: Abstract Objectives A systematic review and meta-analysis were performed on the risk intensity of postoperative sensitivity (POS) in posterior resin composite restorations bonded with self-etch (SE) etch-and-rinse (ER) adhesives. Source comprehensive search was MEDLINE via PubMeb, Scopus, Web Science, LILACS, BBO Cochrane Library SIGLE without restrictions. The abstracts annual conference IADR (1990–2014), unpublished ongoing trials registry also searched. Dissertations theses searched using ProQuest Periodicos Capes Theses databases. Study selection We included randomized clinical that compared effectiveness SE ER used for direct permanent dentition adult patients. risk/intensity POS primary outcome. bias tool Collaboration used. studies considered ‘low’ bias. Data After duplicates removal, 2600 articles identified but only 29 remained qualitative synthesis. Five to be ‘high’ eleven ‘unclear’ key domains, yielding 13 meta-analysis. overall relative spontaneous 0.63 (95% CI 0.35 1.15), while stimuli-induced 0.99 1.56). standardized mean difference 0.08 (95%CI −0.19 0.35). No effect revealed meta-analyses, meaning no influence or strategy POS. Significance type adhesive (ER SE) does not CRD42014006617.
