摘要: In this paper, we explore a new concept, called on-chip diversity, and introduce design methodology for such emerging systems. Simply speaking, diversity means mixing different architectures and/or technologies in multiple voltage/frequency island setup order to achieve the highest levels of performance, fault-tolerance needed flexibility SoC design. As main contribution, present challenges implementing an efficient communication architecture outline unified framework which addresses some these issues. We then provide comparative experimental results make qualitative analysis architectural choices communication. Having acoustic beamforming as driver application, show that infrastructure can be constructed by carefully analyzing characteristics application required power, performance fault-tolerance.
