摘要: We studied by immunohistochemistry the distribution of tenascin with monoclonal antibody 100EB2, and compared it that laminin in breast tissue samples from fetal, adult resting, lactating, aging parenchyma, variants fibrocystic disease, fibroadenomas, cystosarcoma phylloides, ductal lobular carcinomas. Monoclonal antibodies were applied to cryosections avidin-biotin-complex method; selected double immunofluorescence, Western blot analysis. In resting breasts, immunoreactivity was noted periductal periacinar stromal regions as thin irregular bands; lactating breast, broader bands observed. these samples, a single continuous line around ducts, acini, vessels. fetal appeared thick bands, whereas remained delicate line. FCD, increased ducts showing hyperplasia, papillomas apocrine metaplasia, retained its linear pattern. Similar patterns seen fibroadenomas phylloides variable reactivity stroma beyond ducts. Tenascin markedly containing situ carcinoma appearing broad showed linear, frequently discontinuous appearance. Prominent infiltrating carcinomas, virtually absent save for scattered lines. The abundance carcinomatous contrasted scarcity non-neoplastic regions. By blotting, both chains molecular weights 250,000 180,000 shown carcinomas well normal breast. periepithelial acini. amount moderately enhanced certain physiologic conditions (fetal growth, gestation), hyperplasias, dysplasias (fibrocystic disease) benign tumors, intraductal During mammary development, pathologic increasing stable or decreasing reactivity.
