摘要: Recent technological advances, combined with the development of bioinformatic tools, allow us to better address biological questions combining -omic approaches (i.e., genomics, metabolomics and proteomics). This novel comprehensive perspective addresses identification, characterisation quantitation whole repertoire genes, proteins metabolites occurring in living organisms. Here we provide an overview recent significant advances technologies used proteomics. We also underline importance limits mass accuracy spectrometry-based -omics briefly describe emerging types fragmentation spectrometry. The range instruments techniques study each approach, which vast amounts information (usually termed "high-throughput" literature) is discussed, including names, links descriptions main databases, data repositories resources used. Integration multiple results procedures seems necessary. Therefore, challenge integration huge amount generated standardisation methods Functional will lead answers unsolved questions, hopefully, applicable clinical practice management patients.
