摘要: Abstract The peripheral administration of serotonin antagonists cyproheptadine and methysergide did not result in any changes brain 5-hydroxyindole levels up to 2 hr after administration, despite a rise tryptophan noted higher doses cyproheptadine. Both are hypothermie at room temperature, but exposure animals elevated temperature (36 C) results colonie equal that seen untreated exposed this same temperature. Exposure ambient similar 5-hydroxyindoles both saline cyproheptadine-treated animals. Methysergide blocks the 5HIAA occurs upon heat. Neither nor prevent decrease follows injection 5HT receptor agonist (quipazine). These suggest neither act as central antagonists, or they receptors which do mediate compensatory feedback responses.
