摘要: It was Fazio et al (1974) who, whilst investigating the transmethylation hypothesis, inadvertently noted that SAM had antidepressant properties. Since then numerous clinical trials have supported this initial observation. The mechanism of anti-depressant effect is unknown and previous did not include biochemical measures during treatment to relate any effects.
