摘要: In Unani System of Medicine, many drugs (single as well compound formulations) are used for the purpose reducing body weight and treating obesity ( Muhazzil ). Indian gooseberry amla ) & ginger Zanjabeel among these medicines. Since useful in obesity, can also be proved beneficial lowering increased concentration plasma lipids or hyperlipidaemia. Their efficacy has been pharmacologically documented good hypolipidaemic antioxidant natural agents.
