摘要: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic skin disease which has been known to negatively influence the mental health of patients. However, only few studies have explored prevalence psychiatric problems among AD patients, particularly adolescents. In this study, we aimed assess association with depressive symptoms and suicidal behaviors adolescents by analyzing data from 2013 Korean Youth Risk Behavior Survey, nationwide web-based survey. Data 72,435 adolescent middle high school students in Korea were analyzed. Students self-reported diagnosed doctor yes-or-no answers questions about suicide ideation, planning, attempts Relationships between or tested logistic regression models after controlling for potential confounding factors. The proportion who had was 6.8%. reporting feelings 31.0%, ideation 16.3%, planning 5.8%, 4.2%. Compared without AD, significantly more likely experience (odds ratio [OR]: 1.27, 95% confidence interval [Cl]: 1.19-1.36), (OR: 1.34, Cl: 1.24-1.45), 1.46, 1.32-1.65), 1.51, 1.33-1.72). multivariate model, relationships 1.26, Cl:1.16-1.36), 1.28, Cl:1.14-1.44), attempt 1.29, Cl:1.13-1.49) statistically significant. Adolescents are associated higher depression behaviors. Adolescent patients may need interventions clinicians caregivers that use holistic approach prevent psychological comorbidities, although further research needed clarify relationship.
