摘要: Reactions of quartz and kaolinite separately with coal char were examined at temperatures up to 1600 °C in argon nitrogen atmospheres, by using thermogravimetric analysis combined off-gas analysis. X-ray diffraction was utilized identify the reaction products. The carbothermal reactions began, respectively, as low 1200 1150 °C, evolution CO. formation products quite dependent on heating conditions. Under Ar, main product(s) β-SiC for quartz, α-Al2O3 kaolinite. Above 1550 Al2O3 gradually formed Al4C3. N2, carbothermic nitridation occurred both company SiC. For SiC hexagonal β-Si3N4 °C; however, no crystalline nitrides distinctly observed 1400 °C. case kaolinite, appreciably it disappeared above 1500 AlN formed...
