摘要: Abstract Two fibroblastic cell lines, 3T3 and 3T12, were grown on hydrophilic hydrogel substrates containing various amounts of positive or negative charge. The materials copolymers hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) methacrylic acid (MAA), N,N -dimethylaminoethyl hydrochloride (DMAEMA-HCl), trimethylaminoethyl chloride (TMAEMA-Cl). samples prepared as spun cast films ultraclean glass microscope slides. cells in 10% fetal bovine serum supplemented Dulbecco's modified medium (DMM). Both lines survived proliferated the positively charged DMAEMA-HCl TMAEMA-Cl with HEMA. Cells did not survive MAA-HEMA nor neutral HEMA homopolymers. Proliferation correlate water content gel materials. Attachment well proliferation zeta potential mole percentage charge determined by bulk titration data.
