An efficient algorithm for Volt/Var control at distribution systems including DER

摘要: Distributed energy resource (DER) systems are small-scale power generation technologies used to provide an alternative or enhancement of the traditional electric system. These generators usually connected distribution networks. This paper presents a new price based methodology daily Volt/Var control in including DERs. DERs have much impact on according small X/R ratio and radial configuration systems. Due private ownership DERs, price-based compensation is proposed as proper signal encourage owners active reactive generation. Since mixed integer nonlinear programming problem, evolutionary algorithm Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) determine values capacitors tap positions transformers for next day. The results indicate that encouraging factor has improved performance networks large scale.
