摘要: Chimeras are organisms composed of at least two genetically distinct cell lineages originating from different zygotes. In the laboratory, mouse chimeras can be produced experimentally; various techniques allow combining early stage embryos with each other or pluripotent stem cells. Identification progeny in permits to follow fate and function, enabling correlation genotype phenotype. Mouse have become a tool investigate critical developmental processes, including specification, differentiation, patterning function specific genes. addition, also generated address biological processes adult, mechanisms underlying diseases tissue repair regeneration. This review summarizes types how they been provides examples offer unique powerful system questions pertaining developing adult organism.
