摘要: Skin anti-aging effect of Forsythia viridissima L. extract was evaluated by using antioxidant assay, expression type I procollagen, and UVA-induced matrix metalloproteinase-1 in human dermal fibroblasts. Matairesinol-rich showed the scavenging activity radicals reactive oxygen species with IC 50 values 4.50 ㎍/ml against 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazly radical 542.43 superoxide xanthine/xanthine oxidase system, respectively. The procollagen increased 33.76% treatment matairesinol-rich extract, MMP-1 reduced 35.78% a dose dependent manner. In skin irritation test, 2% did not show any adverse effect. Also, clinical study indicated that cream group treated 0.2% significantly wrinkles, as compared non-treated (p < 0.05). These results suggest may be useful potential source functional cosmetics.
