摘要: Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is an important cause of morbidity. The aim this study was to evaluate the preventive effect cytidine 5′-diphosphocholine (CDP-choline) treatment on hyperoxic lung injury in a neonatal rat model. A total 30 newborn pups were divided into control, hyperoxia, and hyperoxia + CDP-choline groups. After birth, control group kept room air received saline injections, whereas those groups exposed 95% O2 daily injections throughout postnatal day 10, respectively. Histopathological scoring, radial alveolar count, lamellar body membrane protein expression, fibrosis, proinflammatory cytokine levels, tissue bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid phospholipid content, apoptosis evaluated. Hyperoxia-induced severe damage reduced significantly by treatment. Radial count expression recovered, number terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase–mediated deoxyuridine triphosphate nick-end labeling–positive cells, active caspase-3 levels decreased administration. Lung BAL contents showed significant increases after These data show that ameliorates It may therefore be suggested novel therapeutic option for prevention BPD.
