Brain metastases from small cell lung cancer treated with combination chemotherapy.

摘要: Ten patients with metastatic small cell lung cancer (SCLC) in the brain, shown by CT scan at time of diagnosis, were treated systemic combination chemotherapy. Repeated scans performed every 4 weeks. Seven evaluable, since three died during first 2-3 Significant responses on as well neurologic improvement demonstrated all evaluable patients. Four seven obtained a complete response while had partial remissions. The impact this observation overall treatment strategies SCLC has further to be defined.
