摘要: Tumor growth of colorectal cancers accompanies upregulation cyclooxygenase-2, which catalyzes a conversion step from arachidonic acid to prostaglandin H2 (PGH2). Here, we compared the expression levels thromboxane synthase (TXS), PGH2 A2 (TXA2), between human cancer tissue and its accompanying normal mucosa. It was found that TXS protein consistently upregulated in tissues different patients. also highly expressed colonic cell lines. Depletion by antisense oligonucleotide inhibited proliferation cells. This inhibition rescued direct addition stable analogue TXA2. The present results suggest overexpression subsequent excess production TXA2 cells may be involved tumor colorectum.
