摘要: Regional measurements of blood flow (F) were performed in transplanted intracerebral RG-2 rat gliomas using [14C]iodoantipyrine, Kety-Schmidt equations, and quantitative autoradiography. Twenty-nine intracranial tumors ten rats analyzed by location; 18 intraparenchymal, seven meningeal, two third-ventricular, fourth-ventricular studied. For all tumors, averaged mean F was 91 +/- 33 (S.D.) ml/hg/min. In but one tumor, intermediate between normal cortex corpus callosum values. There moderate regional variation: lower tumor center (78 47 ml/hg/min) than periphery (93 30 ml/hg/min). Within individual showed variation which correlated to some extent with histological features; a less 10 ml/hg/min observed only within an area necrosis. regions brain immediately surrounding the higher periphery. Blood seems unlikely limit drug delivery any more brain, consistent levels from make model excellent study experimental tumors.
