摘要: Establishment of continuous cell lines from human normal and tumor tissues is an extended useful methodology for molecular characterization cancer pathophysiology drug development in research laboratories. The exchange these between different labs a common practice that can compromise assays reliability due to contamination with microorganism such as mycoplasma or cells flasks experiment reproducibility reliability. Great proportions are contaminated and/or replaced by derived origin during processing distribution process. scientific community has underestimated this problem thousand been done incorrectly identified wrong conclusions have published. Regular authentication tests necessary order avoid negative consequences widespread misidentified lines. Cell banks generate, store distribute research, being mandatory consistent quality program. Methods implementation guaranteeing both, the absence supplied lines, performed Andalusian Health System Biobank. Specifically, precise results were obtained using real time PCR detection 10 STRs identification capillary electrophoresis line authentication. Advantages disadvantages protocols discussed.
