摘要: The Hepatocyte Growth Factor receptor, encoded by the MET proto-oncogene (Naldini et al., 1991b, 1991c; Bottaro 1991), is prototype of a growing family tyrosine kinases whose members share structural features crucial functional relevance. Recently, two molecules have joined family: RON and SEA gene products (Ronsin 1993; Huff Gaudino 1994). Interestingly, Ron protein was shown to be specific receptor for Macrophage Stimulating Protein (MSP), growth factor highly homologous (Gaudino 1994; Wang Therefore, ligands receptors form themselves (the “HGF family”). So far, ligand putative elusive.
