Effects of online presence on learning performance in a blog-based online course

摘要: Abstract This study investigated how learners' perceived online presence contributed to their learning performance while participating in a blog-based university course. Although the literature evidently highlights that there is necessity for courses, concrete design approaches and empirical evaluation of impact on courses are lacking. An was therefore conducted understand relationship between individuals' perceptions presence, terms teaching, social cognitive presences, performance, subjective objective outcomes. Research questions were tested data analyzed using regression analysis. The results indicate has significant influence performance. A subsequent analysis found played most important role also identified students'
