摘要: Parasitic diseases represent one of the causes for significant global economic, environmental and public health impacts. The efficacy currently available anti-parasitic drugs has been threatened by emergence single drug- or multidrug-resistant parasite populations, vector threats high cost drug development. Therefore, discovery more potent coming from medicinal plants such as Quercus infectoria is seen a major approach to tackle problem. A systematic review was conducted assess Q. in treating parasitic both vitro vivo due lack reviews on activities this plant. This consisted intensive searches three databases including PubMed, Science Direct Scopus. Articles were selected throughout years, limited English language fully documented. total 454 potential articles identified, but only four accepted be evaluated based inclusion exclusion criteria. Although there insufficient pieces evidence account against parasites, plant appears have anti-leishmanial, anti-blastocystis anti-amoebic activities. More studies are warranted further validate infectoria.
