摘要: The neu oncogene protein, p185, and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) were localized immunohistochemically in benign malignant human breast tissues using monoclonal antibodies. Both epithelial cells positive for these proteins acetone-postfixed frozen sections. Stromal negative but occasionally EGFR. Myoepithelial consistently EGFR, p185 was predominantly duct-lining cells, where the basolateral plasma membrane normal expression site of both substances. Paraformaldehyde-prefixed sections less sensitive antigen demonstration. Based on intensity immunoreactivity, 11 37 carcinomas (30%) judged overexpressors, while none 24 overexpressed neu. Epidermal demonstrated 18 36 cancer (50%) three (8%). At cellular level, heterogenous EGFR observed tissues, a single case overexpressing showed reciprocal patterns staining, indicating their independent expression. In some carcinomas, only stromal cells. Our findings confirmed mutually two closely related protooncogenes tissues.
