摘要: Brain nicotinic receptors were studied in the frontal cortex, temporal hippocampus and caudate nucleus patients with Parkinson's disease (PD), Alzheimer's (AD) control. The Bmax Kd values of (-)-[3H]nicotine binding determined a Scatchard analysis. number declined both PD AD all brain areas examined. unchanged. There was negative correlation between degree dementia cortex. A similar seen muscarinic/nicotinic receptor ratio cortex patients. present findings indicate that are affected not only AD, but also dysfunction cholinergic system is involved process PD.
