摘要: Abstract Human embryonal carcinoma (EC) cells typically require high cell densities to maintain their characteristic phenotype; they are generally subject differentiation when cultured at low densities, marked by changes in morphology and expression of the surface antigen, SSEA-1. To test whether cadherin mediated cell-to-cell adhesion may be responsible for maintaining an EC phenotype we ascertained that human express E- P-cadherins, mediated, Ca2+ dependent aggregation. However, NTERA2 line, inhibition culture levels did not result seen under density conditions. Low also affect pattern these following induction with retinoic acid. Therefore, cadherin-mediated does appear play a role phenotype. On other hand, both absence patterns suggesting feedback regulatory effect adhesion. Further, lithium which inhibits cytoplasmic kinase GSK3β hence influences β-catenin cause cells. consideration resultant suggested this because mimicking activation Wnt signalling pathway, rather than on consequent upon
