摘要: Abstract Taurine (2-aminoethane sulfonic acid) is a physiologic compound with osmoregulative properties and presumbly an inhibitor of lipid peroxidation. The present study evaluates the effects on viability isolated kidney cells addition various doses taurine to UW preservation solution. Porcine tubular cell monolayers were incubated at 4°C for 9 h in solution under hypoxic conditions, subsequently reoxygenated 30 min Hank's balanced salt equilibrated room air. was added final concentrations 0, 1, 10 ot 20 mmol/1. Cel assessed by exclusion Trypan blue determination energetic status reoxygenation. While tuarine had no influence post-hypoxic vaibility according exclusion, dose-related increases cellular content high energy phosphates after reoxygenation observed medium. It concluded that able reduce tissue alterations during hypoxia recovery metabolism may be more sensitive indicator than morphological test.
