摘要: SummaryBackground and objectives Polymorphisms in the P-glycoprotein-encoding ABCB1 gene may affect intracellular concentration of xenobiotics, thus contribute to development autoimmune diseases, including bullous pemphigoid (BP). The objective present study was investigate whether there is an association between C3435T G2677T/A polymorphisms risk BP a Polish population. Patients methods The included 71 patients with 156 healthy volunteers. Determination polymorphism carried out using PCR-RFLP; polymorphism, allele-specific PCR. Results While no correlation BP, we did find such respect polymorphism. relative more than five times greater individuals 2677TA genotype (OR = 5.52, p 0.0063), twice as high carriers 2677TT 2.40, 0.0076). At 2.40 (0.000018), OR 2677T allele also increased. prevalence 2677GG 2677G control group, well OR < 1.0 (0.22 0.33, respectively), suggest protective role BP. Conclusions The results indicate that developing BP.
