摘要: Membrane proteins mediate many critical functions in cells. Determining their three-dimensional structures the native lipid environment has been one of main objectives structural biology. There are two major NMR methodologies that allow this objective to be accomplished. Oriented sample NMR, which can applied membrane uniformly aligned magnetic field, successful determining backbone a handful proteins. Owing methodological and technological developments, Magic Angle Spinning (MAS) solid-state (ssNMR) spectroscopy emerged as another technique for complete characterization structure dynamics First developed on peptides small microcrystalline proteins, MAS ssNMR recently successfully large In review we describe recent progress methodologies, now available studies protein determination, outline few examples, highlight broad capability spectroscopy.
