Self-care behaviors and practices of nursing students: Review of literature

摘要: Self-care is a vital component of nursing practice and essential for the well-being human beings, that is, both patients nurses. However, nurses students tend to focus more on self-care their often pay little or no attention personal self-care. This literature review explored behaviors practices in general as well across academic years study. In total, 11 studies were reviewed critically appraised identify current trends regarding students’ literature. Nursing realized importance maintaining diet, sleep, activity level improve physical physiological health. they neglect which could emotional psychological health because stress, workload, inadequate knowledge about strategies this domain. There limited evidence drawing any conclusions use complementary therapies self-care, difference between non-nursing students, usefulness different interventions improving practices, differences years.
