摘要: There are regular problems of musty odor in the Huangpu River, a major source drinking water for Shanghai, China. In this study, and its main causative compounds River were confirmed through yearly investigation using flavor profile analysis combined with HSPME-GC-MS analysis. The showed that 2-methylisoborneol (2-MIB) concentration level between 28.6 71.0 ng/L was responsible summer from July to September. Microscopic observation cloning results Phormidium spp., which accounted 80%-95% algal cell density, microorganisms production 2-MIB estimated yield 0.022 pg/cell. Results wide-area sampling campaign watershed that, other than large tributaries receiving Tai Lake, several small creeks close intake may have contributed most spp. water. This study provides methodology causing river-type water, result will be useful quality control both
