摘要: The action of the nucleoside stimulators amino acid incorporation into proteins Ehrlich ascites tumor cells, as well lesser stimulation by glucose, is blocked inhibitors protein synthesis, energy production, and glutamine synthetase, but not actinomycin D. Preincubation cells was required to obtain maximal nucleosides. Effects on uptake acids, pH, or cell viability could be correlated with rate incorporation, nor there a correlation intracellular levels adenosine triphosphate adenine nucleotides. Although possible role suggested several observations, large part effect does seem involve enhanced synthesis glutamine. Preliminary cleavage ribose-1-phosphate appears for stimulation, since only ribonucleosides which are substrates purine pyrimidine phosphorylases were found enhance incorporation.
