摘要: The easiest method to study involvement of individual classes sugar receptors such as membrane lectins and their carbohydrate ligands in cellular interactions a model is established by deliberately reducing the intriguing complexity surface or ligands, resulting surrogate systems. Guided this framework, liposomes are prepared whose can be aimingly modified chemical conjugation potential tested. Their interaction with respective ligand- receptor-exposing surfaces, cells helps infer generated strength type receptor-ligand recognition. Moreover, these devices may helpful for cell type-specific targeting. This chapter outlines preparation, characterization, selected application neoglycoprotein-liposome conjugates which instrumental analysis lectins.
