摘要: Epidemiologic studies of the etiology Coronary Heart Disease (CHD), and clinical population based approaches to its prevention control, have evolved with recognition importance many risk factors. However, despite acceptance concept multifactorial causality, continuing identification an increasingly larger number contributing factors extending from molecular genetic societal level, role nutrition diet-lipid-CHD theory remained central CHD epidemiology. For this presentation, I assumed hat theory, positing causal links between diet, serum cholesterol, atherosclerosis coronary heart disease, is valid without presenting evaluating all massive evidence related assumption. Rather, shall illustrate theory’s explanatory predictive properties application in public health preventive control programs as seen a oriented epidemiological perspective.
