摘要: Ulcerative dermatitis (UD) is a common condition in C57BL/6 mice and strains with this background. The etiology of UD unclear but appears to have genetic component associated the strain has been reported as secondary variety conditions. Treatment unrewarding, resulting euthanasia many cases. In present study we compared 3 topical treatments against spontaneous total, 301 both sexes were included study, tested comprised bacitracin-neomycin sulfate-polymixin B sulfate ointment twice daily, 10% povidone-iodine plus 1% silver sulfadiazine cream once 0.005% sodium hypochlorite daily. Lesion healing was defined complete skin reepithelialization or without hair regrowth. Sex, age, lesion location, type length treatment analyzed by using univariate multivariate logistic regression. Of 79 treated triple-antibiotic ointment, 27 (34%) healed, 43 125 69 97 (71%) hypochlorite. size only significant predictors healing; all other variables not statistically analysis. We conclude that an effective alternative for on background, favorable prognosis depends early identification those lesions.
