Cytochemical discrimination between catalases and peroxidases using diaminobenzidine.

摘要: The influence on diaminobenzidine staining of four variables: prefixation in aldehyde, temperature and pH incubation, H2O2 concentration, was investigated catalase-, as well peroxydase-containing material. Catalase from five different sources types peroxidase were examine. It is conclude: (a) when cells are incubated without prior fixation, a DAB medium at room 7.3 with 0.003% H2O2, peroxidases produce visible cytochemical stain, while catalases do not; (b) the reaction elicited by stimulated aldehyde fixation specified conditions, incubation 45° C 9.7 0.06% H2O2; (c) under latter circumstances several also stain. Ultrastructural preservation satisfactory tissues toxation.
