摘要: The overall survival rate and prognosis of patients with laryngeal cancer are not optimistic despite advances in therapeutic techniques. Gene expression prognostic models enable the development more appropriate treatment strategies. human gene PTPN11 encoding a non-receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase, Src homology phosphotyrosine phosphatase 2 (SHP2), is well-documented proto-oncogene various malignancies. This study investigated role SHP2 associated clinical manifestations using tissue microarray 112 pairs samples corresponding adjacent normal mucosae. increased cancer, this result was poor patients. Moreover, remarkably promoted growth cells vitro tumorigenicity vivo. Ras/Raf/Mek/Erk pathway also found to be involved SHP2-induced cells. Overall, our findings indicated that plays an important tumorigenesis its negatively correlated Thus, may promising combinational target for cancer. interference can serve as novel strategy treatment.
