摘要: For electronics devices based on carbon nanotube, we propose that the localization of density states can enhance rectification effect. The proposal is confirmed according to first-principles study transport characteristics several disconnected armchair nanotubes where only one side edge hydrogenated. We find effect increases as diameter nanotube and has no trend decrease, which originates from pristine edge. Our investigations indicate quantum size helpful for molecular or nano-scale devices.
