Teaching quality essentials: the effectiveness of a team-based quality improvement curriculum in a tertiary health care institution.

摘要: A unique quality improvement (QI) curriculum was implemented within the Division of General Internal Medicine to improve QI knowledge through multidisciplinary, team-based education, which also met requirement for American Board (ABIM) Maintenance Certification (MOC) and Mayo Quality Fellows program. Participants completed up 4 learning modules, including pretest posttest assessments. participant who successfully all modules received certification as a Silver Fellow credit toward ABIM MOC. Of 62 individuals invited participate, 33 (53%) corresponding pretests posttests. substantially improved in modules. Study group participants’ scores averaged 71.0%, their 92.7%.
