摘要: Designing multifunctional landscapes requires accurate indicators to assess the effect of landscape structure on provision ecosystem services. Biological pest control relying natural enemies is an important service considered as a sustainable alternative chemical control. The aim this study was measure and compare accuracy computed at various spatial scales predict pollen beetle infestations successful biological in northwestern France. sensitivity, specificity, probability correctly ranking fields were estimated for each indicator based survey 42 using receiver operating characteristic procedure. For infestation, proportion woodland semi-natural habitats found be informative with good discriminatory abilities. control, woodland, previous year's oilseed rape reduced soil tillage By values optimal thresholds we able compute maps areas risk infestation those displaying regional scale. This provides tools that could help extension services, planners, policy makers optimizing according key service. results also provide new grounds understanding trophic interactions scale well ambivalent complexity enemy populations.
