摘要: Background There is limited evidence regarding the efficacy and safety of retinoids in different psoriasis subtypes. Objective To systematically review available literature on: (i) modalities administration prescription oral as single agent or combined therapy for treatment plaque-type (PV), nail localized generalized pustular : initial optimal dosage; (ii) skeletal toxicity retinoid psoriasis. Methods A systematic search was carried out MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Library databases from 1975 to 2010 searching randomized controlled trials observational studies evaluating 1) various dosages 2) psoriasis. Articles were human subjects English/French languages. Results Efficacy Among 1348 identified references, 44 published included. Starting daily between 10 25 mg stepwise escalation associated with higher clinical lower incidence adverse events comparison doses regimens rapidly reaching dose. Retinoids appeared show PV, while good reported forms should be cautiously considered, given spontaneously remitting course disease. Combining phototherapy highly effective patients PV. Potential retinoids. 15 105 references no strong an increased risk abnormalities treated retinoids. Conclusion Acitretin appears provide better than PV a treatment. setting psoriasis, accordingly monitoring this through X-ray not warranted.
