摘要: Recently, vinyl sulfones have been observed to selectively inhibit glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH), which is an important ATP-generating enzyme in glycolysis. The possibility of using GAPDH as a biochemical parameter cytotoxicity by was investigated mouse lymphocytes. Incubation lymphocyte with ethylvinyl sulfone resulted pseudo-first-order loss activity. exposure lymphocytes the decrease activity followed ATP depletion and cell death, were both dependent on concentration sulfone. A further study time-dependent change indicated that death preceded loss. Compared sulfone, divinyl more than 8 times potent causing either or death.
