摘要: In 75 gliomas and 31 meningiomas, mutations at the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene locus were restricted to gliomas. The ligands of this receptor, transforming alpha, lacked quantitative changes their loci in meningiomas. EGFR amplification occurred astrocytomas, oligodendrogliomas, ependymomas glioblastomas. frequency mutation significantly increased with malignancy grade patient's age. Especially glioblastomas individuals aged over 64 years, observed without chromosome-10-specific allele losses. This finding contradicts hypothesis that deletion one entire chromosome 10 regularly precedes primary patients 50 years. It was found most whose carry an have a poor prognosis, comparable glioblastoma even when tumour is graded as benign.
