摘要: The binding specificities of 52 well-characterized monoclonal antibodies (Mabs) against carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) from 12 different research groups were studied by immunohistochemistry and immuno flow cytometry. In addition, the constant for interaction between Mab CEA was determined a solution-phase assay. Cryostat sections colon carcinoma normal colon, stomach, liver, pancreas, spleen immunohistochemistry. Peripheral blood granulocytes, monocytes, lymphocytes assayed Mabs used here have previously been classified into five essentially nonoverlapping epitope (GOLD 1-5) (Cancer Res., 49: 4852-4858, 1989). Most cross-reacted with tissues, ranging highly cross-reactive (positive reaction 8 9 discriminating tissues) to relatively specific 1 tissues). Five (10%) specific, reacting only carcinoma, mucosa, gastric foveola. There correlation group specificity. high degree specificity almost exclusively belonged 1, 2, 3, while 4 5. no antibody affinity CEA. Specific as well low found.
