摘要: Fluctuations of the thermal or classical component van der Waals force between two dielectric slabs, modeled as an ensemble polarizable dipoles which interact via usual electrostatic dipole-dipole interaction, are evaluated. In model instantaneous is a deterministic function dipole configurations in and its fluctuations purely due to (no background electromagnetic field considered). The average variance computed. exhibit normal thermodynamic scaling that they proportional area plates and, even more importantly, do not depend on any microscopic cutoff theory. forces give unique fingerprint these fluctuation interactions.
