摘要: Monopolar charge disorder effects are studied in the context of fluctuation-induced interactions between neutral dielectric slabs. It is shown that quenched bulk gives rise to an additive contribution net interaction force which decays as inverse distance slabs and may thus completely mask standard Casimir-van der Waals at large separations. By contrast, annealed (bulk or surface) leads a whose large-distance behavior agrees with universal Casimir ideal conductors, scales cubic distance, properties enter only subleading corrections.
